"Thunder", the percussion group, was formed in 1999. An idea of Crissy Lee and her pupils, as a feature at the Felsted School concert "Music On A Summer's Evening".

This feature quickly became the highlight of the Schools concerts with Thunder students demonstrating various styles, complex rhythms, stick control, timing, dynamics and, of course, team work.

Since then, Crissy has featured Thunder in some of her charity concert work as they always prove to be a popular attraction. The group varies in size, depending on the occasion and venue, usually between 4 - 15 students playing anything from the humble triangle to floor toms, snare drums and full drum kit.

Thunder has grown in popularity over the years and now also includes Crissy's private pupils whom she teaches from her own drum/percussion studio "Fiddlesticks".
